Pretty, Posh Pink Wedding Flowers

Are you or another female considering pink wedding flowers? Pink flowers sound like a definitive answer, but to put together the perfect wedding with beautiful flowers more consideration will be needed. Such as; will one flower be repeated throughout the bouquet or will other types of flowers be incorporated into the mix. Roses with chrysanthemums? Roses alone? It’s a dilemma!

1. Will the wedding take place indoors in a church or home or outside in a garden or at a beach? This will give a formal or informal look with which you want your floral theme to match.

2. Consider the bridal gowns being worn by the members of the wedding party. If possible bring a piece of fabric to make certain flower choice will look good with the gown color(s).

3. Also consider the color variations of pink flowers themselves; as flowers have both yellow and blue natural undertones plus a multitude of shades, including purplish pink.

4. The choices of pink flowers is huge; there’s an array of colors that are just in the pink family, ie: candy or hot pinks – wild flowers or farmed flowers. A bouquet of roses will tend to look better with other formal flowers. Wild flowers will look better with other wild flowers.

5. What flowers are available in your geographic location at the time of the wedding? Many flowers are seasonal and can not be incorporated into the bouquet out of season (or they’ll cost an arm and a leg).

6. What shape will the bouquet be? Your bouquet should match your wedding theme whether it is a formal or informal theme. Do you love the look of a hand tied bouquet, a round bouquet or a cascading bouquet?

7. Last, will the guys want to wear pink? If they refuse to wear pink you may want to incorporate white or purple into your pink wedding flowers.
